A place to pick your preferred pretreatment.
<p>Pretreatment practices reduce the maintenance burden and improve the longevity of the receiving LID facility. The choice of pretreatment device will depend upon the route of the incoming flow: </p>
<ul>
<li><strong>For overland sheet flow</strong> look at gravel diaphragms and vegetated filter strips, </li>
<li><strong>For overland concentrated flow</strong> consider forebays, screens, and sand filters, </li>
<li><strong>For underground concentrated flow</strong>,OGS devices and exfiltration pipes.</li>
